On June 10, a meeting with students and professors from the Austrian University Universität Innsbruck was held at the Metropolis office.

Mohamed Nasser, Commercial Director, Daniil Sharapov, Chief Project Engineer, and Svetlana Parkhomenko, Head of BIM Department, held a presentation for Austrian colleagues, during which the latest achievements of the company in BIM design were presented. As examples for consideration, objects that were designed using open-BIM technology were given - the Luzhniki Grand Sports Arena and the Rhythmic Gymnastics Palace of Irina Viner-Usmanova.

Svetlana Parkhomenko spoke in detail about the methods of building smart object models, the software used, as well as the causes of collisions and ways to eliminate them using open-BIM technology.

Daniil Sharapov discussed in detail with the professors of Universität Innsbruck the features of the workflow of design organizations - the similarities and differences in design stages in Russia and Europe, the examination of project documentation and the interaction of various engineering departments within one company.

The moderator of the meeting with students and professors was Tatyana Meshcheryakova, Docent of NRU MGSU.

The meeting was held in a nice friendly atmosphere, the students were interested not only in the peculiarities of BIM design in Russia, but also in the organization of the company's project office.
