Sergey Bryuzgin, Head of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning department of Metropolis took part in an annual scientific conference, dedicated to the issues of effective usage of Simcenter software package and acted as a speaker in the multi-industry session.

On October 20-21 Nizhny Novgorod hosted the annual Star Russian Conference 2021, organized by Sarov Engineering Center (SAEC). Traditionally, the topic of the conference is devoted to the latest developments in the field of engineering modeling. Leading Russian experts in engineering analysis gathered to discuss ways to solve production problems, reduce production costs and introduce innovations.

The first collective report with SAEC addressed the issues of «Numerical modeling of heat and mass exhange processes in the premises of the iCity building’s atrium based on the Simcenter STAR-CCM+ software package». Sergey's co-authors were specialists from the Sarov Engineering Center A. Kudryavtsev and E. Voronina.

The second report was «Construction Industry: Trends and Challenges in Modeling». During his presentation, Sergey spoke about the advantages of working with BIM, CFD modeling, WELL certification and the largest projects carried out by Metropolis together with SAEC – The Rhythmic Gymnastics Palace of Iirina Viner-Usmanova, Ice Arena of the Dynamo Stadium and the atrium in the skyscrapers of the under-construction business-center iCity.

Overall, 27 reports were read, and in total more than 100 people took part in the conference, another 380 joined online.
