    Metropolis is the best employer in the «design and architecture» segment of civil engineering

    On January 31, the HeadHunter group of companies traditionally presented the annual Rating of Russian Employers for 2023 based on external data about companies, their internal processes and the results of surveys of employees and applicants.

    Metropolis took 1st place in the Engineering and Architecture category in civil engineering and 14th overall in all areas among companies with 251 to 1 000 employees.

    The rating of the best employers in Russia has been conducted by HeadHunter since 2010. It is the largest rating in the country in terms of the number of participants and the volume of parameters at the moment. This year, 2 266 companies applied for participation (compared to 1 996 in 2022), but only 1 497 participants reached the final.

    The rating takes into account 3 main indicators: external assessment of applicants, internal assessment of employees and the development of HR processes in the company. The development of HR processes is determined by HR specialists filling out a professional questionnaire developed by HeadHunter analysts. Its results allow us to evaluate the effectiveness of the company’s HR team, its level of development and comparison with competitors in the industry. The assessment of HR specialists makes up 20% of the company’s final score. External assessment of applicants and internal assessment of employees each account for 40% of the final score. The final place of the participating company in the overall rating is determined by the total value of all three indicators.

    In 2023, Metropolis expanded its staff to 550+ people, opened offices in Saratov and Sevastopol, and added Voluntary Medical Insurance to the social package. We continue to recognize young professionals by attracting students from specialized universities for internships with subsequent employment, and set global goals, bridging the gap between academic education and real business needs, through the student league of the International Engineering Championship CASE-IN. But we don’t forget that global goals require global recreation, so we regularly conduct internal activities both in summer and winter.
