    Metropolis is a partner of the Student League of the International Engineering Championship CASE-IN

    On February 28, the TASS press center hosted a press conference dedicated to the start of the XI season of the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship, one of the projects of the Presidential Platform "Russia – Land of Opportunities".


    The CASE-IN championship is an international competition system for solving engineering cases among school and university students and young professionals. The goal of the championship is to popularize engineering and technical education and for companies to attract the most promising young professionals. In 2023, the theme of the championship is "Technological Leadership".


    The Metropolis company participates in the CASE-IN championship for the first time and acts as a partner of the Student League "Architecture, Design and Construction".


    The participants of the competition will be bachelor, specialist and master students of 4 leading universities of the country:

    1. Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MGSU);
    2. Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (SPbGASU);
    3. Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering (KGASU);
    4. Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (NNGASU).

    Students of the faculties "Architecture", "Construction", "Information Systems and Technologies" are invited to participate in this part of the competition.


    Alla Seryogina, Marketing Director of Metropolis, spoke at the press conference and told about the company's participation in the championship, tasks for students and the opportunity for winners and finalists to take an internship at the Metropolis offices in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod.

    Metropolis experts will prepare a case that includes solutions for various sections of design, including architecture, structural and engineering solutions. Participants will select the chief engineer of the project from their teams and distribute the roles in accordance with the task.


    The solving of each section will be accompanied by curators from Metropolis and by university professors.


    The work on the case is aimed at developing the competencies of students in non-academic projects and preparing them for working in a real project organization. Such team competitions in solving practical problems will help participants develop their soft skills and hard skills, as well as establish themselves in front of a potential employer.


    The Metropolis company is interested in attracting both experienced professionals and young specialists, and is ready to seek talented young people among students who may become part of the company in the future.


    The CASE-IN championship has been held since 2013. In 2019, the Championship entered the TOP 15 Olympiads in the world according to the RAEX-Analytics rating agency.


    CASE-IN is included in the "Science to Win" initiative and the plan for the Decade of Science and Technology that is held in Russia in 2022-2031.


    Student League competitions will start on the first day of spring with qualifying rounds at the Magnitogorsk State Technical University. G.I.
