On July 6, games for the Volleyball League of Innovations Cup were held on the territory of the Kalibr technopark. Every year, the technopark organizes a sports tournament among its residents, but the discipline is determined by voting. For the second year in a row, the participants chose volleyball.

Metropolis traditionally maintains the status of a sports-oriented company and takes part in such competitions. This year, 7 teams participated: in addition to Metropolis, these are Evocargo, Rubytech, Kalibr, Complex-Bar, Engerta and Genterra.

After passing through the group stage and winning the semi-finals, in the final the Metropolis team faced the Rubytech team, where we got the better of the opposition and won the cup! Despite the exhausting heat, our team played flawlessly in 5 matches in a row, showing not only the result, but also a beautiful team play and good physical fitness.

The Metropolis team are: Ivan Frolov, Vladimir Medvedkin, Dmitry Vishnyakov, Denis Dubinin, Alina Shigapova, Angelina Chekmeneva, Pavel Pantyushin, Vladislav Kuznetsov, Alexei Melnichuk, Timur Usmanov, Mikhail Gubin.

Throughout the tournament, the participants were encouraged by colleagues, friends and inspiring cheerleaders from the Dynamic Ladies group. The games were evaluated by professional judges of the 1st category and commented by the host. An entertainment program was also organized for the fans, where they could test their knowledge of volleyball rules and terms and win prizes.

On July 24, the winners were awarded at the Metropolis office. Team members received congratulations, words of praise from colleagues and gifts from the company.
