    The Ministry of Construction awarded the winners of the competition "BIM-technologies 2019/20"

    The award ceremony for the winners of the IV All-Russian competition with international participation "BIM-technologies 2019/20" took place on August 18 at the Ministry of Construction of Russia. The event was attended by the Deputy Ministers of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Dmitry Volkov and Alexander Kozlov.


    In the category "Information modeling of public facilities" the 2nd place was taken by Architectural Bureau "Tsimailo Lyashenko and Partners" in collaboration with LLC "Metropolis" for the project Multifunctional complex "Empire II", at Moscow, Krasnopresnenskaya embankment, section No. 4 of MIBC "Moscow-City" (Moscow).


    The main goal of the Open All-Russian Competition with International Participation "BIM Technologies 2019/20" is to identify companies that have practical experience in working with information modeling technologies and to popularize the achievements of the best BIM specialists in Russia. The competition is annually attended by the largest Russian and foreign design and construction organizations, architectural bureaus, software developers, development companies, as well as students from specialized universities in Russia.


    The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas signed by the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Vladimir Yakushev and Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Construction of Russia Sergei Stepashin.


    The competition is annually attended by the largest Russian and foreign design and construction organizations, architectural bureaus, software developers, development companies, as well as students from specialized universities in Russia. For four years, more than 500 projects from different cities of Russia, as well as from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Italy and Hungary were submitted to the competition.


    "BIM is a young, just emerging technology. Our common task is to contribute to its development. The implementation of each of the participating projects is of great importance to us. The international synergy that we see here today will help all of us to test the world's best technologies in our work. For example, to build modular construction using information modeling technologies on an industrial scale. Such modern technologies, changing materials and design methods bring the construction industry to a completely new level and make it possible to implement unique projects," said Dmitry Volkov, Deputy Minister of Construction of Russia.


    The winners of the "BIM Technologies 2019/20" competition were announced in the categories "Student Works Using Information Modeling Technologies", "Information Modeling of Residential Buildings", "Information Modeling of Industrial Buildings", "Information Modeling of Existing Objects", "General Approaches to Implementation information modeling","Domestic software development in the field of information modeling", "The best foreign project" and "The best BIM idea of ​​the year".
