Museums and historical buildings: design features of engineering systems

On December 21, our colleagues attended the master class "Museums and historical buildings: design features of engineering systems."

The master class was held at the State Museum of Fine Arts named after A.S. Pushkin. This is the most important object of the cultural and mass infrastructure of Moscow, which has one of the largest collections of foreign art in Russia. During the comprehensive reconstruction of this museum complex, engineering systems were created on the basis of unique technologies and the best technical solutions that ensure reliable and safe operation and a high level of energy efficiency.

The master class was held by Evgeny Bolotov, an expert in the design of historical and museum buildings. At the event, our colleagues got acquainted in detail with the new ABOK Standard 7.7–2018 “Museums. Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning.

As part of the master class, a technical tour was held, where engineering solutions for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, smoke ventilation (individual heating units, ventilation chambers, control room, etc.) were visually demonstrated.
