On 12 to 15 March Alexander Vorozhbitov, General director, and Mohamed Nasser, Commercial director of Metropolis became delegates of the International real estate exhibition MIPIM in Cannes. This year MIPIM celebrated its 30th jubilee edition. MIPIM is a key event of the real estate industry, where the most powerful players of the sector - designers, investors, developers, tenants, architects, representatives of financial bodies and banks, lawyers and government employees - come together for four days.
MIPIM 2019 welcomed over 26,000 guests from 100 countries, including 3,350 corporate exhibitors, 5,400 investors, 4,800 developers and 560 officials. The business programe included over 100 conferences and 360 speeches and reports.
Mohamed Nasser commented on the results of the trip: 'MIPIM is an excellent opportunity to communicate in person with colleagues from various countries, get an overview of the trends of the commerical real estate market, and surely vote for Zaryadye park on MIPIM Awards'.
Zaryadye Park with a concert complex was among the finalists of the Best urban regeneration projects and became the winner. There were three other public spaces fighting for the prestigeous awards - Changchun Culture of Water Ecology Park, National Kaohsiung Centre for the Arts in Taiwan and Rebuilding Frankfurt's old centre in Frankfurt am Main.
On 13, March 2019 as part of the International exhibition Russian Breakfast took place in Barriere Le Majestic hotel. Organized by Impress Media, the Russian Breakfast took place for the 30th time. This year the Russian Breakfast was devoted to: WTF: What’s the Future? Investments in 2050.
The central item of the exhibition of the Government of Moscow was a unique interactive mobile complex Map of Moscow. Moscow town planning projects demonstrated on the map with the help of innovative technologies aroused much interest among multiple visitors of the exhitition.
