Business mission 'Innovative technologies for urban infrastructure' in Manchester
On February,19-20 the Department for International Trade of the UK organized a business mission 'Innovative technologies for urban infrastructure' in Manchester for representatives of Russian companies.
Mohamed Nasser, commercial director of Metropolis was among the delegates. The purpose of the trip was to study advanced technologies and unique expertise of leading British companies and developers in sustainable urban planning, green construction, smart business management systems, solutions for energy efficiency and digital economics.
Manchester was the only city in the UK involved in the mission. The delegates visited Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester City Council and a number of companies specialized in development and introduction of innovative technologies for urban systems: Qbots Energy, Asset Mapping, MYAA, AFL Architects, Bruntwood, Tyndall Centre, High Voltage Lab, Tensar etc.
